Department of Geography, RPSDC, M. Garh organized an Expert Lecture by Dr. Kushagra Rajendra , Faculty and coordinator, Amity School of Earth and Environmental Sciences on occasion of celebration of "National Wildlife Week".
On the occasion of 'National Wildlife Week' celebration, Dr kKushagra delivered an expert lecture on "Importance of Wildlife"2017. He told that wildlife is playing an important role in keeping the balance of food web and other ecological cycles. He told that even the small birds, insects living around our houses and fields, have very crucial role in our life. Cropping is not possible without proper contribution of such organism. He also warn against excessive use of chemical and plastic products, that harms our ecology.

Department of Physics, RPSDC, M. Garh organized an Expert Lecture Series-2k18 for the session July - December, 2018. The Lecture is delivered by Dr. S. P. Singh, Scientist, CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi.
In his Lecture, He described his research based on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. He covers the research on some important topics, in particular traceable measurements, SI Units, Industrial Revolutions, Particles in a Box and many others. He also talked about his research contributions in CSIR-NPL as well as in India. Apart from this, He inspires to the students regarding the current research and future aspects of Nanotechnology.


Prof. B.S. Butola, Visiting Prof King College University, London and Prof. at Center for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
On the occasion of annual Geo-Fest celebration of Geography department of RPS Degree College, Mahendergarh, Prof. B.S. Butola delivered a lecture on Patterns of Regional Development in India on 25th march 2017. Prof. Butola specialization is Regional Development, Planning and Political Geography. During more than 4 decades of his work in this filed, Prof Butola has made fundamental contributions to our understanding about Regional Development and political aspect of social advancement, particularly about marginalized areas and segmented sections of our society. He worked in numerous academic committees including advisory committee for textbooks in social sciences at the higher secondary level at NCERT. His work for Delhi Human Development Report (DHDR) 2013 is widely appreciated.
As we know that Regional Development emerged as indispensable field of study in social sciences. MDU also introduced Regional Development as a compulsory paper in PG course of Geography in 2016-17 session. So there were genuine queries and quest for knowledge among students and faculty members about this newly introduced paper. The interaction session was meant to satisfy all related quest and quires of RPS academia.

A.K. Sharma Chairman, Department of Material Science & Nano Technology, Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal was organized on behalf of the Department of Chemistry for the faculty & P.G. students of RPS Degree College on 03/02/2015. Prof. Sharma an acclaimed researcher in Nano Technology laid stress on the importance of Nano particles in day to day life. He demonstrated how the research on Nano can bring India amongst the leading developed countries of the world.
